What are the outcomes of differing cultures?

If you read the sections above, you'll notice there is a lot of talk about differing "norms". One of my biggest questions within this research was how do these differences present into adulthood? Not surprisingly, there was essentially no research on this.

There was a good bit of research suggesting that emotional differences did affect individuals in adulthood. Typically, cultures that did not prioritize emotional expression had a higher risk for disorders like ASD and ADHD as well as higher chronic stress levels.

The little bit of research on the rest of development suggested no significant differences between cultures in adulthood. So long story short, there is no right or wrong way to raise your kids, but they should be exposed to the differing cultures so they see variations as normal rather than something to judge.
